Inaugural Event - Elevator Brewery
Dear Think Green Attendees,
Thank you again for coming out to our event Wednesday night at the Elevator. It really was great to see the number of people interested in helping to protect our environment, improve our community, and hopefully boost our local economy. As we discussed, we will be holding regular events and activities and encourage your participation in planning, hosting and organizing. We believe that facilitating collaboration, innovation and education will help shape a better future for all of central Ohio.
As a group, we came up with some great ideas for future topics, and it looks like we have some expertise to draw on as well, which is fantastic! We are planning a "Green Transportation" workshop for the end of March, or early April and will keep you all updated. We will be looking at a variety of issues, modes of transportation, emission reduction and cost saving methods, among other things. In the meantime, if you have any ideas or questions on this or any other topic please visit our site and post your comments/suggestions. We will be updating our website soon with more information.
We especially want to thank Andia Sangale from Mayor Coleman's office and Tad Dritz from Green Columbus for coming out and overcoming the less than ideal speaking conditions. Please take a moment to visit the GreenSpot website, www.columbusgreenspot.org and show your commitment to environmental sustainability by becoming a GreenSpot member. Also, don't forget to check out www.greencbus.org and www.picturethis09.org to get information on Green Columbus / Green Drinks and Earth Day activities. We would also like to thank our sponsors, Generation Green (www.generationgreenstore.com) and Dinsmore and Shohl for sponsoring the spread of food as well as Possitivity Green (possitivitygreen.com) for providing name tags.
We hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and look forward to seeing you again soon. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Again,
Think Green Columbus / Columbus Green Life
